§ 1 Organizer, Prize, Participation

1. The organizer of the contest is Hisense Gorenje Germany GmbH | Parkring 31 | 85748 Garching near Munich | Phone: 089 50 20 70

2. The subject of the contest includes:
– 9x Hisense 65U7KQ TVs (one TV per Hisense VAR Screen Quiz location)

Only the prizes described in the contest will be awarded. Cash payouts are not possible. The prize is non-transferable. Registrations after 11:59 PM on July 14, 2024, via the method described below, will not be considered. The organizer cannot be held responsible for any technical disruptions, especially network, electronic, or computer failures.

3. Participation in the contest is only possible by accepting these terms and conditions.

§ 2 Participation Requirements

1. Participants in the contest to win 1x Hisense 65U7KQ TV per event location must be natural persons who successfully register for the Hisense newsletter between 10:00 AM on June 14, 2024, and 11:59 PM on July 14, 2024, through on-site activation at the event location and the provided landing page. The following on-site activations between June 14, 2024, and July 14, 2024, are considered event locations:

2. Eligible participants are all natural persons residing in Germany who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation. Participation is only possible with a valid email address. The participant is the person who owns the email address used for registration. Employees of Hisense Gorenje Germany GmbH and their relatives, as well as any other persons involved in the preparation and implementation of the contest, are excluded from participation. Participation via third parties (e.g., contest services) is excluded.

3. The winner agrees to be publicly named.

§ 3 Exclusion

1. In the event of a violation of these terms and conditions, the organizer reserves the right to exclude persons from the contest, especially for violations of the participation requirements according to sections 2.1 and 2.2.

2. Participants suspected of (technical) manipulation will be excluded from the contest. Participants who violate the terms and conditions can also be excluded from the contest with immediate effect.

3. If the conditions for exclusion are met, prizes can be revoked retroactively or already paid out or delivered prizes can be reclaimed. Corrections to the ranking can also be made accordingly.

4. The organizer or the agencies commissioned to conduct the contest are entitled to terminate, abort, or suspend the contest if:

o An attempt at abuse through manipulation is detected.
o Proper execution can no longer be ensured, particularly in the event of hardware or software failures, program errors, computer viruses, unauthorized third-party interventions, or mechanical, technical, or legal issues.

Participants have no claims arising from such premature termination of the contest. If such termination is caused by a participant’s behavior, the organizer may claim damages from this person.

§ 4 Contest Period

1. The contest starts on June 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The deadline for participation is July 14, 2024, at 11:59 PM.

§ 5 Conduct of the Contest

1. Each participant who takes part in the Hisense VAR Screen Quiz in the aforementioned stores on the specified dates and successfully registers for the Hisense newsletter via the provided landing page will have a chance to win 1x Hisense 65U7KQ TV per event location.

2. After the contest ends, winners will be randomly selected. The draw will take place by August 1, 2024, at the latest.

§ 6 Prize Notification

1. Winners will be contacted by Hisense Gorenje Germany GmbH via email and asked to respond to the Hisense Gorenje Germany GmbH.

2. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours after the end of the contest, providing their name and address, the claim to the prize will be forfeited, and another participant will be selected.

§ 7 Prize Transfer

1. The Hisense 65U7KQ TVs will be delivered via post or courier.

§ 8 Liability Disclaimer

1. To the extent legally permissible, the organizer assumes no liability, especially not for timely participation in the contest.

2. The organizer is only liable for the proper conduct of the contest.

3. The organizer’s liability for direct or indirect damages arising from participation in the contest or lack of availability of the contest offer, unless such damages are due to gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the organizer, is excluded.

4. Participants agree that their email addresses may be used by the organizer or third parties commissioned by the organizer for the contest, drawing, processing, or presentation of participant contributions.

§ 9 Miscellaneous

1. The contest is subject to German law.

2. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, this will not affect the legal validity of the remaining terms and conditions.

3. Legal recourse is excluded.

§ 10 Data Protection

The data will be processed by act.3 GmbH on behalf of Hisense Gorenje Germany GmbH in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you agree to the data protection provisions of Hisense Gorenje Germany GmbH.

All questions, comments, or complaints about the contest should be directed to Hisense Gorenje Germany GmbH, including your name, surname, email address, and any voluntary data provided during participation. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of conducting and managing the contest, determining and notifying the winners, and delivering or providing the prize. For the purpose of delivering prizes, we will subsequently collect and process additional data, such as your postal address. In individual cases, additional data may be requested to ensure the eligibility of participants. The data will be deleted after the contest ends and prizes have been sent.

The legal basis for processing is the fulfillment of the contract resulting from participation in the contest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Your Rights

You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time. To do so, send a message to one of the contact addresses provided above. We point out that in the event of an objection, further participation in the contest is excluded.

Furthermore, you have the right to access your data stored by Hisense Gorenje Germany GmbH at any time and, if the legal requirements are met, the right to rectification, restriction of processing, deletion, and transferability of the data you have provided digitally. You can exercise your rights by email or in writing to the responsible party. You can also contact the Data Protection Officer at the provided contact details at any time regarding the processing of your data. Additionally, you have the right to file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
